Riverlodge Recreation Centre at 654 Columbia Avenue is a major recreation facility. It has a weight and cardio fitness centre for ages 16 and up (youth 13 to 15 with an adult), the Jim Linton Gymnasium, a rock wall, saunas, an activity room, the Joanne Monaghan Community Room and an arts wing.
Programs range from open gym, pickleball, badminton and volleyball to youth and preschool programs, workshops and fitness classes. It is also home to the Kitimat Senior Centre and Youth Centre, and rooms, the gym and equipment such as snowshoes and the TrailRider outdoor wheelchair can be rented. Registration is by phone, online or in person.
